| | About IdilViceFashionRocks!![]() IdilViceFashionRocks is a clothing label manufactured and based in Manhattan, New York. Named after the designer IdilVice, a Swiss Native, born and raised in St. Gallen, Switzerland. IdilVice got her masters degree in graphic design.
After an internship at Jean Paul Gaultier in Paris, IdilVice moved to New York City in 1994, where she combined her knowledge in graphics, keen eye for fashion and her newly found interest in American pop culture and created her very first collection under her own name. When she presented the collection in a show back in Zürich, it got rave reviews and catapulted her into instant celebrity status. The Swiss press calls her "The Most Important Discovery Since Color TV" and her shows are regularly covered in the Swiss national evening news.
This popularity opens doors for IdilVice. TV commercials, spokes model and sponsoring contracts with Bernina Artista sewing machines, nomination to design the clothing concept for the Swiss national exhibition Expo '02, exhibition 'History Of Swiss Fashion Design' at the Swiss Native Museum in Zürich, member in the Miss Switzerland Jury, National Blick advertising campaign, invitations to show at the Snowboard World Championship in Davos and at the Textil & Fashion Center at the WTC, sponsoring contracts with Philip Morris and many more.
Despite the astonishing success on her home turf, IdilVice permanently moved to the US in 1998 and incorporated her company in the State of New York in the year 2000.
IdilVice's clothes have been praised by the NY Times as "A Clothing Line That Makes A Fashion Audience Sit Up And Take Notice" and the Village Voice declared during Fashion Week: " IdilVice - Best Name Of The Day". Her collections have been worn by several high profile celebrities such as Gwen Stefani, Sarah Jessica Parker, Avril Lavigne and many more.
In addition to her work for her own label, IdilVice has been commissioned to design countless clothing concepts such as the collections for Elvis Presley Enterprises, Swatch Group, the Chapelle Show, etc., styling advertising and editorials for companies such as Burger King and many more.
IdilVice is planning to open another retail shop in New York City. Stay tuned! Her Blog Want to see IdilVice's archive? Go to www.idilvice.com
